Excellent yet unassuming authentic Italian restaurant right on Clapham common. Staff are extremely welcoming and the food is top notch. So good we came back a further 2 times in 8 days! Not sure if it is family run, but it certainly has a family run vibe. Excellent inside and out.

Such a lovely restaurant. Great vibes both inside the restaurant and outside. The team are all really nice and accommodating. They are also dog friendly and always give lovely treats to our dog. The food is delicious and beer nice and cold! Looking forward to this being a nice local treat for our family evenings out.

Wonderful experience here. Definitely the perfect place to taste Italian flavor. All kinds of food we’ve ordered were so delicious. Besides, each size of food is big and enough for us two. One more thing, the price is beautiful too (means cheaper than other restaurants). Last but not least, we’ve impressed by the warm service and friendly smile. These are the reasons why we visit here the successive two days and give five stars.

The restaurant has good service and relaxed / nice old school Italian atmosphere right next to Clapham common park. The food is decent, with a good selection of common Italian dishes, which we love. I would not say the food is anything extraordinary, but I think this is what makes the place cool. No high prices, no strange twists on the recipes, no overstretched concepts, just good old fashioned pizza & pasta. Drinks were fine too, but again we kept it simple. I definitely would consider coming back.

This family-run pizza and pasta restaurant is a true gem, committed to delivering top-notch quality and service to every customer. Unlike the big chains, Pizzeria on the Green genuinely cares about the food they serve and the experience they provide. I’ve been coming here with my family for over 10 years, and it has never let us down—consistently excellent every time. Now, even my kids bring their friends here! Recommendations: Any pizza (my personal favorite is the Amalfitana), Pasta Arrabbiata, Aurora, and the Aubergine Parmigiana.

Go there with the kids, this restaurant is one of the most kids and family friendly restaurants I’ve been in so far. Staff were super nice, friendly and helpful, one of them help my toddler to calm down when he was upset and I really appreciate it. Food was good, we had spaghetti Bolognese, Calamari, pizza burrata, pizza parmigiana and garlic cheesy bread. Kids love their pasta and we like the pizza.
